Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to improve the quality of education in our school. We wanted to increase students' motivation to learn and improve the quality of managing the international environment of the classroom and school. Our entire school recognizes the need to build students' motivation to learn. We know that one of the ways is to increase the attractiveness of classes by using modern technological solutions and including elements close to students, which are the source of their interests, such as online games. The second important element was to improve the quality of work and management of the multicultural class and school environment. We wanted to include students with various needs, including foreigners, in active work and to integrate our environment in two dimensions: 1) teachers' cooperation, also during seminars, trainings, and 2) multicultural integration with students and their families. Our goal was to increase the European dimension of the school, as well as strengthen its position in the local environment, by offering a modernized didactic offer and building the brand of a modern school, participating in European programs, such as Erasmus Plus - which is very attractive for students.
1 144 / 5 000 Wyniki tłumaczenia Tłumaczenie Primary School No. 90 is a large institution with 759 students and 91 teachers. It should be emphasized that over 18% (135 children) of our students are foreigners, mainly Ukrainians. Regarding the situation in Wrocław, one of the largest groups of foreign students attends our school. In addition, in the face of the need to work remotely, resulting in the isolation of students from each other and loosening ties, we noticed new challenges. Our project was a response to the specific situation of the school and was aimed at improving its work and increasing the motivation of students by training the staff - participation of 5 teachers in an advanced course on the innovative use of online and video games and VR (virtual reality) in the educational process and the participation of 3 teachers and management staff in a course on multiculturalism: "Integration and interculturality" focused on the methodology of "Theatre of the oppressed" in relation to inclusive intercultural dialogue. Thus, we trained the remaining staff in ICT methods and ways to build a friendly atmosphere for each student.
