Objectives

We wanted to expand teachers' competences by participating in short-term mobilities of the programme Erasmus+. Our goals were: 1. Improving the quality of our facility's work by increasing the knowledge and skills of digital competences. 2. Improving the quality of our institution's work by introducing new methods and approaches in teaching and learning. 3. Improving the quality of our institution's work by increasing the language competences and skills of teachers in the field of a foreign language. As a school, we wanted to improve the professional competences of teachers by enabling them to participate in EU courses and trainings and gain new experience, which in turn would translate into better functioning of the school and improve the quality of education in our educational institution.

Background

The school's mission is to educate in professions with a future, based on cooperation with employers and external institutions, also from the EU. The school has taken a number of actions to improve the quality of education: - among others: "Pomorskie - a good course for education. Vocational education in the region and the challenges of the labor market”, ended in January 2015. Meetings of students with Pomeranian entrepreneurs were held and didactic aids for the vocational training workshop were purchased. "Improvement of teachers of service professions" on internships with employers - belongs to the scope of this proposal. Project co-financed from European Funds: "GOOD SCHOOL = good profession, attractive job" in the years 2017-2023 - professional internships, training for students and teachers. Currently, the school also participates in the Erasmus+ project under accreditation. Project 2022-1-PL01-KA121-VET-000053870 was implemented. We have implemented the project "Professional development of ZSH teachers in the EU as a key to improving the competence and quality of school work, a guarantee of development and broadening the horizons of students". The training was an investment in the development of human capital.
