As outlined in our school’s Strategic Plan, our goals include raising our students as environmentally conscious individuals, protecting the green environment and climate, distancing from social media via focusing on plant growing as well as teaching the opportunities in the fields of economy, health and employment and raising individuals against Global Warming. As a result of the observed needs and deficiencies, a Needs Analysis was performed to students selected from 1st and 2nd grades. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that 40% of our students weren’t even aware of the local plants and they had not grown any plant before. The students also did not have sufficient information in which season the plants were grown and what kind of disease treatment they were good for. Therefore, it has been determined that environmental and protection awareness were very low. In this context, we think that cooperating with European schools that share the same shortcomings and needs in conjunction with coordinated local and national national activities can lead to a definitive and permanent solution for this problem. Społeczne Liceum Ogólnokształcące is a project school with 120 students aged between 15-19 and implements Social Sciences and Science curriculum along with teaching English as Foreign Language. According to the Global Risks Report by the World Economic Forum, the biggest risks facing the world were declared as extreme weather conditions, failure in climate protection and inability to adapt to climate change. One of today's biggest problems is the unconscious destruction of plant species due to the lack of environmental awareness. The fact that many plant species that provide natural balance are not known by the new generation, the existing ones are being neglected and their cultivation ways are unknown, which is one of our biggest problems. In this context raising awareness of new generations can only be achieved through education. We aimed to strengthen the immune system and reduce the use of chemical substances in order to protect the body from upper and lower respiratory infections.
