Countries: PL · Grant: €56,088
Teaching and learning of foreign languages

Objectives

The project had three main objectives: 1. Improving students' language competences in the use of English - in particular communication skills and knowledge of industry language. 2. Acquiring new professional competences of students through internships in foreign enterprises. 3. Inclusion of pupils with fewer opportunities: digital exclusion, pupils with opinions on specific learning difficulties or rulings on the need for special education, transport exclusion. Many students do not have the opportunity to use spoken English on a daily basis – mobility abroad was a great opportunity for students to improve their language skills and break down barriers to using a foreign language. The acquisition of new professional competences by students was to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and new skills in the field of vocational education as well as to the accumulation of experience in working in enterprises abroad. The project was also important in terms of including pupils with fewer opportunities, as well as in the area of cultural education. For students, mobility was an opportunity to come into safe contact with multiculturalism and European values.
