Objectives

As a vocational and technical education institution, our main goal was to prepare students for further educational and professional careers in the country and abroad in the best possible way by adapting the curriculum content and methods to the educational and professional needs of students and the needs of the labor market, as well as adapting techniques and methods of work to the abilities and students' individual abilities. By combining apprenticeships carried out in the education cycle with an internship abroad, we have increased the quality and effectiveness of education at ZST. This is important because 90% of our of graduates work professionally and study (only less than 2% of graduates continue their education without taking up employment). The aim was to improve communicativeness and the use of professional English, to acquire specific competences soft skills: cooperation skills, self-organization, time management, development key competences: mathematical and technical and related IT/coding. It was important to improve social and cultural competences-participation in a Spanish language course (language as a key element national identity), a cultural program that allows you to learn about history of the country/city.

Background

In the Technical Secondary School No. 2, we meet the expectations of employers and the labor market by creating fields of study that ensure employment. Project activities that we covered 30 of our students (electronics technician - 4 students, electrical technician - 11 students, graphics technician - 11 students, advertising technician - 2, photography technician - 2 students) resulted from the need to eliminate the deficits and negative tendencies diagnosed in ZST Śrem: mismatch between the curriculum and the student's ability to absorb it, too broad theoretical scope in relation to professional practice, low attention to participation in education of labor market participants (companies/institutions). We observed the phenomenon of equating to the average, lowering the educational requirements of teachers to the level of weak and average students, where talented students lose their motivation to work, which inhibits the development of their abilities-the project was a response to their professional needs. It was necessary to provide non-formal support and strengthen the belief in success among students with reduced motivation. We wanted to implement the European model of education more widely, provide appropriate training places
