In the globalized economy and the chemical sector, the synergy of educational activities and enabling all future young employees to gain international experience is very important. The project met these challenges. The assumption of the project was to increase the international, ecological and practical aspects in chemical education at the level of vocational schools through the implementation of foreign internships for 30 students in chemical industry professions. Such experience was to increase their competitiveness on the labor market and develop their personal competences. The students came from areas where the chemical industry is one of the main employers, but also demanding employers susceptible to market changes. The project was to support professional mobility of young people, so that they would be ready to actively look for jobs, also outside their region, if necessary. The project was also intended to strengthen the international and cross-sectoral partnership of 2 Polish chemical schools, the "Faveo" Foundation and foreign partners representing the labor market in order to benefit from mutual experiences and good practices in vocational education.
The goal of the Foundation is to internationalize vocational education and promote common European standards. For 15 years, we have been implementing foreign mobility projects for students and teachers of VET schools and practitioners every year. We also organize internships for young foreigners in Poland. We cooperate with 4 VET organizations: in Germany, Denmark, Italy and the CzR. The second program is to connect schools with the labor market and popularize education at employers, both students and vocational teachers. We introduce innovative, non-formal learning methods to formal education, we use the experience of other countries to improve quality, promoting. European standards and tools, including approximation of the PQF to the EQF and Europass. We reach recipients through partner vocational schools, their governing bodies and the network of employers. This allows the actors of education and employment policy to be brought together around the table, different perspectives to be taken into account, and through foreign partnerships also to include the European dimension. The Foundation also implements Erasmus+ strategic partnership projects in the field of VET and organizes international meetings of young people from UE.
