The most important goal of the project was to improve the quality of the facility's work in specific areas that required changes and to deepen international cooperation. The acquired knowledge, skills and practice are to be a tool for working with training participants, promoting the facility and sharing examples of good practice with others. The offer of Instytut in the field of out-of-school forms of adult education and learning has been modified by implementing a new methodological guide and developing a training program on the example of a course in the selection and installation of heat pumps, as well as multimedia elements enabling the theoretical part to be conducted using distance learning techniques. Interactive multimedia presentations were implemented in the courses, in accordance with EduPlus guidelines, which, as a result, will allow the participants of training courses conducted by Instytut to better understand and acquire knowledge in the field of electricity, heating, gas, energy or mechanics. Participation in modified courses should increase the chances of students getting a qualification. On the other hand, higher pass results for qualifications exams will affect the popularity of Instytut Doradztwa courses.
As part of the project, there was a visit of the employees of the Instytut Doradztwa at the headquarters of EduPlus organization, in order to undergo a 5-day training entitled “Active learning methodologies to motivate students and prevent dropout”. Participation in the training allowed for a better adjustment of the curricula of the conducted vocational courses to increase the involvement of students in the theoretical part of the training. It is an institution established in 2004, which for many years has been organizing specialized technical training and providing consulting services. It is a Private Continuing Education Institution, accredited to organize vocational courses in the field of renewable energy sources. It has: an entry in the register of non-public schools and institutions, an entry in the Regional Training Institutions and Development Services Database, as well as the ISO 9001 and 14001 quality mark. Accredited by the Ministry of Development in the field of pro-innovative consulting services. It is also the coordinator of the Sustainable Infrastructure Cluster, recognized since 2016 as one of the National Key Clusters. The flagship vocational courses concern energy-saving construction and renewable energy.
