Objectives

Through the implementation of the mobility project, NT intends to adapt to the key educational policy in Poland and the assumption of improving the quality of vocational education, where internships would be a component of the entire education process. Thanks to mobility, NT will develop a European dimension and raise the level of vocational and general education. It will strengthen efforts to become an institution on a European scale, meeting the needs of students and the local community in the field of education and culture. The implementation of the project allowed NT to provide real support to a group of 16 U covered by mobility. It made it possible to achieve the chosen goals and challenges, improving the professional (including digital) competences of students, language and ecological competences, counteracts exclusion and mentally and psychophysically strengthens U. As an organization - it raised its prestige by implementing an international project; became more aware of European standards of teaching, formal and non-formal education. Through cooperation with Spanish employers, vocational teachers improved their professional competences, transferring Spanish IT solutions to the local area.

Background

Non-public Technical Secondary School General W. Andersa in Opatów Vocational Training Center in Kielce (NT) has been educating youth in the daytime system in the field of IT technician for 15 years, and in the field of stylist technician for two years. NT has implemented many LDV and Erasmus+ projects. In the years 2012-2022, NT received funding for 6 European projects in the field of vocational education. NT also implements innovative programs in the field of e-sports, robotics, cybersecurity, photography and multimedia, strengthening students' digital competences - not only during the implementation of compulsory educational activities, but also additional activities (learning by developing passion). Each NT activity is aimed at the comprehensive development of the student, which is consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus+ program. And this is what the project was about - creating an opportunity for a group of 16 people, so that by implementing the mandatory 4-week apprenticeship with Spanish employers in accordance with the curriculum, they could strengthen their digital and language skills, learn about the culture, customs and history of a European country in a real work environment.
