The beneficiary of the project was the School Complex of the Agricultural Education Center in Nakło Śląskie, located in the commune of Świerklaniec in the Tarnowskie Góry district in Silesia. The school was founded in 1945. For years, students have been able to take advantage of a wide range of internship and foreign internship programs implemented at our school from the pool of Erasmus + and PO WER. We pay special attention to pro-environmental education. The theme of the project was the ZERO WASTE approach in agriculture. We wanted project participants to make significant changes in the approach to waste management by implementing its assumptions, which would affect: - reducing the amount of waste generated - effective management, - reducing the amount of food waste, - effective use of resources without burdening the environment, - developing low-emission transport, - increase in the share of RES in energy consumption on farms. We decided on this topic because there is no separate subject on ecology in the curriculum. This project was a unique opportunity for our students to explore practical issues, which will improve innovation in education and improve its quality.
