The most urgent needs and challenges of the School include adjusting the forms of vocational education and the functioning of our entire Institution to the modern requirements of the labor market. Recent years have clearly shown how important it is to modernize educational methods and tools. With a view to strengthening the potential of the school and students, we set several key goals that were achieved thanks to the project's activities. Thanks to the project, the following goals were achieved: • Internationalization of the School under the Erasmus+ programme. • Strengthening students' professional and key competences. • Restoring students' motivation for learning and social integration after the remote learning period • Support for young people with reduced opportunities • Increasing the competitiveness of the Institution Mobilities directed at students and staff have become an excellent tool supporting the process of professional development, which in the case of students allows them to smoothly enter the labor market, and in relation to staff allows for the implementation of the didactic process at the highest level.
Complex of Schools of Economics of Janusz Korczak in Dębica has existed since 1936. Currently, 830 students study at the School of Economics under the supervision of 75 teachers in the following departments: economist technician, accounting, trader, nutrition and catering services, advertising, photography and multimedia. The aim of our institution is to provide optimal conditions for the professional development of our students and to constantly improve the quality of education. When we joined the project, we decided that mobilities as part of vocational education are an excellent tool to support practical learning and build the potential of the teaching staff. As part of the project, activities for students and teachers were planned and carried out, which in both cases were aimed at increasing the knowledge and professional skills necessary to function on the modern labor market. Our young people had the opportunity to gain valuable experience during two-week professional internships, while teachers could update and increase their knowledge related to the implementation of vocational subjects at school.
