The implementation of exchanges under the Erasmus+ program lies in line with the Academy's strategy for 2021-2030 accepted by the Senate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. One of the basic goals to be achieved is to expand the network of international and inter-university contacts and increase the number of mobilities, which is to provide the Academy with inspiration to undertake innovative teaching and creative activities. The aim of the project was to help achieve these goals by intensifying foreign exchange. An important task was also to create conditions for the development of students, which was also achieved by enabling them to exchange and gather valuable artistic and cultural experiences. Among the premises for the implementation of the project are: improving the competences and qualifications of staff and students, including language skills, learning about good practices used at partner universities and expanding the network of contacts, which may result in joint artistic or teaching activities in the future. During the outgoing and incoming mobilities of teaching staff, both students and teachers from host schools also have the opportunity to learn other teaching methods or create artistic projects.
