Being aware that internationalization is a necessary condition for the development of any university, University of Siedlce has always intended to provide its employees and students with the opportunity to participate in international cooperation programmes by developing projects with foreign universities. Mobility for teaching/training or learning purposes is seen as a key factor in improving the quality of the education process, economic growth, job creation and better social cohesion. With this in mind, the university once again became involved in the Erasmus + project, believing that the implementation of this project will contribute to the achievement of the above-mentioned benefits. Moreover, the participation of universities in the Erasmus + program allows our local community to experience and strengthen its European identity in all its diversity and to create a community of Erasmus + alumni who are well-educated and self-aware citizens of Europe. Internationalization is also seen as a way to modernize our university. All the above factors were the main reason for the involvement of our university in the Ka131 2021 Erasmus + project.
