Objectives

The Erasmus+ programme is a key element of the institutional development strategy focused on internationalization and modernity in the context of Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences. The project, which runs from 2021 to 2023, has contributed to a significant modernization and improvement in the quality of the university's functioning, both in the academic, social and economic areas. The European Commission's implementation guidelines of project KA131 2021 gave direction to the university to improve work organisation, develop digital aspects, care for the environment and take into account the needs of people from minorities, thus supporting the comprehensive progress of the institution. The project provided the opportunity to pursue student and staff mobility, establish research partnerships with institutions, access diverse perspectives, enabling the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices with partner universities. The exchange activities fostered cultural understanding, which resulted in better relations between the academic community and opened the door for the university to partner with businesses and the private sector.
