The University of Bialystok has been participating in the Erasmus+ program for twenty-three years. Through participation in the reported project, the University wanted to achieve the main goals included in the Development Strategy of the University of Bialystok for 2014-2024 and the Strategy of the University of Bialystok for 2022-2030, which include: developing cooperation with foreign partners, improving the qualifications of academic staff (including language competence and the ability to teach in foreign languages), increasing the quality of education, establishing and maintaining foreign contacts, participating in international projects, providing students’ development through participation in international exchange, and increasing the number of incoming foreign students. The implementation of the project largely contributes to the internationalization of the University of Bialystok, increasing the attractiveness of the University, as well as its students or academic and administrative staff, in the international market, obtaining valuable foreign experience by project participants, or forming European awareness.
