The project aimed to further develop the internationalization of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń through increased mobility of students, graduates and staff. According to the financial agreement, 195 mobilities were planned: 157 for students and 38 for staff. The new NCU Strategy identifies as one of its main goals strengthening the international attractiveness of education at NCU and of the mobility of students and those preparing their doctorates, as well as ensuring the appropriate conditions for top-quality education. Mobility projects under the Erasmus+ program ideally contribute to the achievement of the above-mentioned objectives, primarily by constant strengthening the international dimension in the functioning of NCU, as well as testing, updating and providing new solutions in the organization of international mobility. The 2021 contract period was also focused on the implementation of the new Erasmus+ University Policy for the next edition of the Program and the new ECHE Charter. The implementation of the KA131 2021 project was also to support the effective introduction of new types of Eramus+ mobilities, EWP tools at NCU and the actual electronic exchange of data with partner universities.
