The Erasmus+ programme has become a key element in the internationalisation process of the Medical University of Lublin. * The aim of the project was to increase the number and diversity of mobilities, increase the quality of international exchange activities and encourage the experience of diversity. * The total number of mobilities realised was 54 (SMS 15, SMT 23, STA 2, STT 14). * Overall, the project has contributed to increasing the visibility and recognition of the university’s educational activities and the exchange of best practices. * The long-term individual benefits of the project are evident and are confirmed by participant surveys: improved language skills, development of soft skills, the ability to adapt and act in new situations, to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and a boost in participants’ self-confidence. * The awareness-raising and increased understanding of diversity and the necessity of bridging different social barriers is also an important value. * The outgoing participants have gained international experience and the arrivals have strengthened the diversity and internationality of the university and given non-mobile students the opportunity to experience multiculturalism.
