Between 2021 and 2023 Koszalin University of Technology implemented a project „Mobility of students and staff of higher education institutions” under the Erasmus+ programme. The project assumed student mobility to study and staff mobility for teaching or training purposes. It has been assumed that the implementation of the project will enable the increase of professional, social, cultural and linguistic competences, improve skills in the use of ICT tools and will strengthen contacts enabling joint teaching, research and project activities. It has also been assumed that the implementation of mobility will contribute to the personal development and to improving the quality of education and adjusting the didactic offer to current market needs, while graduates will acquire skills essential to take up work in international institutions. The project was designed to enable international exchange for people with fewer opportunities. Academic visits were intended not only academic mobility but also integration and impact on the local environment. The stays of foreigners were intended to raise the cultural awareness of the academic community. The implementation of the project was part of the university's internationalisation strategy.
