In the years 2021-2023 (academic years 2021/22, 2022/23) Podhale State College of Applied Sciences in Nowy Targ (now Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Targ) took part in the KA131-HED project under the Erasmus+ program. The objectives of the project directly result from the Development Strategy implemented by our academy, especially in the field of internationalization of the academy's activities. This means, in relation to students: an increase in the percentage of students going on educational mobilities to partner institutions. In addition, because our academy is focused on educating students in applied fields, we encourage and support students to do internships abroad. In regards to the mobility of employees (academic and administrative staff), we also aim at increasing the percentage of staff that have participated in the Erasmus+. Employee mobility is a crucial element of staff development and expands international contacts. In addition to staff development, it also positively affects the quality of student education (improving teaching methods and curricula). Our goal is also to consolidate links with partner institutions of similar profiles in all participating countries.
