Erasmus+ Programme is a core element of internationalisation strategy. By implementing the project we wanted to: - enable student mobility for studies or traineeship in European universities and institutions, - enable academic and administrative staff the experience of teaching or training in foreign universities/institutions, - extend the scope of cooperation and mobilities in programme countries, - improve the quality and quantity of multilateral institutional cooperation between HEIs in Europe, - increase the level of higher education and vocational training, - support the participants in effective use of human abilities potential, - promote the idea of life long learning, - support in language competence, - support the participants' activities in gaining and use of knowledge, abilities and qualifications in international environment to further personal development (e.g. to increase the chance of employment for graduates with professional experience gained abroad), - enable the participants immerse in international envoronment. We wanted to promote social equity, introduce internationalisation at home and integration as well as increase the recognition of the university, city and region on the academic map of Europe.
