Objectives

Our goals related to the implementation of the project can actually be considered on two levels. General goals regarding the entire project and what we wanted to achieve with it - from the point of view of young people, youth workers, impact on young people in our region and our organization, as well as goals regarding individual specific activities within the project. At this first level, the goal was (as this is the first year of our accreditation and a kind of introduction to subsequent activities) to internationalize the activities carried out by EI, to show young people and youth workers the variety of opportunities offered by EU programs, and to popularize participation in them as widely as possible. and showing what a developing adventure participation in European projects can be. This is important because in the Opole Voivodeship there are very few non-school projects implemented under the Erasmus program - which is why young people, especially in smaller towns, do not know about them at all. Therefore, on the one hand, we encouraged young people mainly from such environments to participate, trying to "invite" into the project those young people who had never participated in an E+ exchange before; on the other hand, the group of young people who, after learning about Erasmus opportunities, expressed their willingness to implement the project to us were also willing to share these experiences (which brought results in the next year and the next project). At the same time, after a discussion with our team, we decided to profile the second activity, training, in such a way that it would provide our staff and volunteers with the necessary competences and be a step towards greater internationalization of our activities in the future. We have probably fully achieved these goals, which we are proud of, considering that this is our first accreditation project. The exchange was built together with a group of young people from 3 cooperating youth councils from neighboring towns that we support - importantly, these were young people mostly from rural areas (2 out of 3 towns), all participating in the E+ project for the first time, which additionally gave an impetus to both their councils and other MRMs to believe that such actions are possible and also want to take them. The training allowed the participants - EI employees and volunteers - to acquire coaching competences useful in conducting classes with young people, in an international group and perspective, and at the same time build partnership contacts that we use to this day. At the same time, each of the activities had its own specific goals. The topic of the exchange, chosen after discussion by participants from Poland and partner groups from Georgia and Ukraine, was "Culture of food - culture of life". The discussion about cuisine and culture, traditions and the present, became an inspiration for a discussion about lifestyle, differences and similarities between individual countries, what they result from, a tool to go deeper into learning about cultural issues and the "spirit" of individual countries. nations and what is common and European in them. At the same time, the young people wanted to think about how to make the tradition keep up with the needs of modern times - primarily in the field of dietetics and healthy food, ecology, and how to cultivate old traditions and culture so that it is good for our health and the environment. . This project therefore had the following goals: - encouraging young people to learn about the roots of tradition and culture of different countries, - encouraging and discovering common elements of European identity, - building reflections on sustainable development, ecological lifestyle, healthy food, - building awareness of the possibilities of maintaining cultural and culinary traditions in a modern, ecological and healthy way, - promoting a healthy lifestyle and pro-ecological habits. The training for people working with youth was held under the slogan "Youth Trainers Academy". It gathered youth workers from 4 countries who shared the need to develop competences useful in organizing various forms of workshops and training for young people, and at the same time giving them an international perspective, in connection with the more and more frequently implemented projects of this nature. The aim of this training was therefore: - developing competences in preparing and conducting various forms of workshops and training aimed at young people using non-formal education, - developing competences in the use of various educational forms to strengthen the participation and active participation of young people, - exchange and dissemination of good practices in the field of applied methods and tools non-formal education in different countries, - developing partnership contacts for common educational projects in the future
