This exchange will raise the awareness of not only the protection of the environment, but also the pollution that we, as volunteers –unaware of being it- are making in our daily work and consume every day, wasting foods, stationary stuffs, not using eco-friendly materials etc. According to our experiences in youth projects, when project subject is about ‘environment’, people are more careful about everything they do such as not using plastics, not wasting foods and materials etc. but unfortunately we are not so careful in other projects. We accept it as a big problem and we believe that with this small step from our project, we can save a lot and contribute a lot in Erasmus + projects to be more environmental friendly. No matter what are the subjects, all projects can be environmental friendly. We will organize campaigns and create professional commercials which will be made during the exchange and we will share it with all youth workers and NGOs in order to show them to their volunteers. Organizations can show them before their projects start in order to have zero youth footprint projects. Objectives: - To identify and share similarities & differences in practices used in different countries in terms of protecting the environment, - To encourage everyone –especially young volunteers who are active in civil society- to participate actively in environmental protection and improvement, - To increase awareness about being ‘environmental friendly youth’ by organizing campaigns and shooting videos (they will be created during the project), - To develop a sense of responsibility and raise youth awareness of their own influence on the natural environment (create an informative campaign that each participant country can develop and implement in their community), - To offer the opportunity to meet partner groups and develop concrete ideas for future projects focusing on environmental issues, - To encourage youth to involve in critical and creative thinking about alternatives to these global challenges and to feel empowered to take action to face these challenges, - To give young people the opportunity to acquire skills in organizing, networking, team working and to experience project development in a dynamic international work environment, as a preparation to being an active citizen with self-confidence in managing tasks and projects, - To use recycling and reusing techniques in everyday life, - To support young people to increase their knowledge about Erasmus + Programme and youth exchange projects in order to develop new projects in the future, - To create professional videos (we will have experienced participants) and campaigns by using social media very actively in order to reach as many as people possible for outcomes of our project and for the visibility of Erasmus + Programme.
