The project was youth exchange „Creative Recycling” gathering 40 (8 per each national group) people in the age of 15-30 from 5 countries: Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania and Macedonia. It took place in beautiful village in Poland - Miłków on the dates: 10-20/01/2022 ( including travel days). The main goal of the project was to create young people a possibility to learn more about ecology, climate crisis, recycling practices and actions that we can take to protect our planet. We wanted to participants to become green ambassador, to lead green lifestyle and to encourage more and more people to do the same, for making changes to protect our environment and keep raising ecology awareness of others. We also wanted to participants gain new knowledge about other cultures, their history and traditions, find out more about Erasmus + program and raise their social competencies such as communication in english, working in international teams, raise their European citizenship awareness and encourage them to keep working on their self development. Thanks to the activities about creative recycling and bringing old things back to life, they knew new art techniques and raised their creativity. What was very important for us, was creating an opportunities for youth with fewer opportunities who must face financial, geographical and cultural obstacles (20 participants in total, per 4 people from each national group). Participation of the project gave them a chance to interact with young people from other countries, make connections for future projects, gain new knowledge, get new experience and raise their competences. The project ended up with success and achieved all of the goals. We also believe, that this event was wonderful experience for our participants which they’re going to share with a lot of people. All knowledge, experiences and competences gained during the project will be used by young people in the future, at school or at work, which will be very useful for labour market. Youth exchange ‘Creative Recycling for Youth’ is designed with in a line with objectives of Erasmus + Program: Key Action 1 and following project objectives: • To raise awareness among young people in area of ecology and protection of nature; • To encourage young people to become green ambassadors, take part in various local, international projects and bring change to their countries and communities; • To develop knowledge of the participants and participating organization on Erasmus + Program and its Key Actions, support development of new project ideas and establishing new partnerships; • To provide young people an opportunity to gain new competencies in areas such ascommunication, intercultural learning, teamwork, leadership and creativity that they can apply at their daily life while studying or looking for new job opportunities.
