The project "Culture of Respect" aimed to promote tolerance, pluralism, and respect, exchange 'best practice' experiences of multicultural societies, and encourage cross-border cooperation. The Youth exchange offered the participants the opportunity to become familiar with different countries' inter-ethnic coexistence, make valuable contacts, exchange useful examples, and replicate them back home. The Youth exchange brought the participants together from different countries including Poland, Georgia, Italy, Armenia, and Slovenia to both discuss the problems they faced in their respective countries in combating intolerance and to develop methods for addressing the situation. Countries chosen from different regions gave us the possibility to feel the strength of diversity. The youth exchange aimed at countering influences that led to fear and exclusion of others and helped young people to develop capacities for independent judgment, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning. Participants from very different backgrounds and cultures were treasures that enriched our project. Our objectives were 1. Cross-cultural learning and dialogue between the participants from different countries, with a view to promoting mutual understanding and tolerance; 2. To increase youngsters ‘knowledge about different culture/history/religion; 3. Development of creativity and involvement of young people in civil life through promoting “Erasmus +” opportunities among them; 4. To unite youngsters from different background, nations, and culture; 5. To learn how to respect each opinion and break stereotypes through conducting evaluation and discussion with young people from other countries; 6. To promote good neighborly relations between the EU Member and the non-EU States and to provide space for friendship and relationship through art and culture. With this project, we received several outcomes. encouraging mutual understanding and respect: By bringing together people from different cultures and backgrounds, the project about "Culture of respect" helped promote mutual understanding and respect for one another's differences. This helped to break down barriers and reduce prejudice. Fostering a sense of community: The project helped to create a sense of community among participants, which helped to strengthen civil society. Participants learned to work together towards common goals and developed a sense of shared responsibility for the well-being of their communities. Promoting critical thinking and ethical reasoning: Through the project activities, participants developed skills for independent judgment, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning. This helped them to make informed decisions and engage in responsible behavior. Building leadership skills: By participating in the project, young people developed leadership skills, such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. This helped them to become effective leaders in their communities and contribute to positive social change. Improving intercultural communication: The project "culture of tolerance" helped participants develop skills for effective intercultural communication, which is valuable in a globalized world where people from different cultures often need to work together. This also helped to reduce misunderstandings and conflicts between different cultural groups. The youth exchange aimed to demonstrate to young people the benefits of engaging in and developing their own interests and creativity for themselves and their communities. It highlighted the world of opportunities that life offers to the youth for activities and fulfillment, making their lives more colorful and meaningful, and having positive effects not only for themselves but also for those around them. The project sought to boost the confidence of young people from underprivileged areas to express their positive ideas and show that there are various interesting ways to take action.
