Through our project we found common roots and history for both nations - Poland and Lithuania. What interested us was, among other things, the question of traditions, customs, common passions, which were the basis of our common activities. During the implementation of our project we compared how we see folklore in our countries, how we dance, how we sing, how we celebrate, how we approach tradition and what rituals are associated with it. During the activities, we exchanged experiences, compared and analysed elements of our cultures and discussed topics related to our countries, our folklore culture and history. We gained knowledge not only about folklore, but also about cultural, linguistic and behavioural differences and similarities. As the main working language of the exchange was English, we improved our language skills. For the organisation in which we are active it is important that international cooperation has been developed through the organisation of this project. The organisation has developed its potential for further activities at international level.
