The purpose of our activities in the Turn it on project was to build an attitude of tolerance , openness, respect for other cultures. The project strengthened in us and other recipients attitudes of understanding, tolerance, respect for other cultures and nationalities , showed that diversity or difference is an asset , not an obstacle. The project was a development of our interests , but was also a response to the manifestations of intolerance, racism or xenophobia that we faced in our communities. The project made us aware of the dangers of these phenomena , we realized that it is necessary to counteract them quickly and decisively . The basic premise of our project was to actively participate in all its stages .
