Our project was born out of the need to respond to a topic that has been raised frequently in recent times: pollution of the environment with rubbish, especially plastic. We observed that everyone throws away very large amounts of plastic and glass packaging in their homes. We wanted the project to make us aware of the scale of this phenomenon locally and globally and to influence our attitudes and those of our peers. During the project, we developed methods to reuse glass and plastic packaging in creative ways and made fabric shopping bags with our own hands from unused, old materials. We proved to ourselves and others that various objects, even inconspicuous ones, can be given a new, creative life rather than being thoughtlessly thrown in the bin. As we come from small towns, we cannot develop our interests in paid extracurricular activities, so the Erasmus+ project was an ideal alternative for us. Thanks to this project, we have acquired many competences, the most important of which are: language competences, organisational and logistical competences, creativity, individual and group work, increased self-esteem, breaking down language barriers.
