"Silesian Friends Of Human Rights" was created by two groups of young people from Poland and the Czech Republic. The aim of the project was to discover the idea of human rights, uniformed services as a body that supports the building of a united society, where respect for human rights is a priority, serving tolerance, fighting social exclusion, guarding peace and giving opportunities to activate the disabled in workplaces such as fire brigade, police, army. The project had an integrative character, it included people with disabilities in its activities. The project was aimed at searching, discovering human rights, seeking inspiration related to the future in the uniformed services, as well as discovering common elements of culture. We raised issues related to valuable civic attitudes such as: tolerance, respect, respect for human rights, the fight for peace with active participation in uniformed services. The project was also an opportunity to learn about first aid, saving lives and learning responsibility. The project promoted the uniform as a way of life and a professional career. The task of the project was also to show the true image of uniforms. We denied false information showing the uniformed services as a hermetic environment, focused on their own good, not the common good. The project was implemented in agreement with the OSP Poronin.
