Objectives

The project, called "Business Opportunities" was a response to the needs expressed by all participants who wanted to broaden their entrepreneurial attitudes and gain knowledge about the benefits of self-employment. Its goal was to activate initiative among young people and develop entrepreneurial competence through the creation of innovative microenterprise models. The project also focused on emphasizing the importance of non-formal education, using methods such as working in mixed nationality groups, brainstorming, discussions and using multimedia programs. During the seven-day youth exchange, the participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge that benefited not only their personal development, but above all enabled them to have an easier start in the labor market, as well as improving their competence in effective decision-making related to running their own business. It is worth noting that the implementation of the planned project activities resulted in the establishment of an intercultural dialogue between participants coming from Poland, Netherlands, Turkey, Bulgaria and Spain. Communication between people from different countries was active at every stage of the project, and an intercultural evening was prepared, during which the meeting of different cultures enabled an interesting exchange of experiences. Another important aspect of the project was the opportunity to develop teamwork skills and gain new perspectives, which provided excellent preparation for participants to cope with an increasingly global and dynamic business environment. Each participant was able to contribute his or her unique ideas and experiences, and working together and sharing knowledge resulted in the creation of innovative microenterprise solutions. Throughout the project, the young people had the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge they gained by running simulations of their own businesses. This enabled them to practice various aspects of business, such as financial management, marketing, and customer service. In addition, workshops conducted in the presence of experienced facilitators allowed participants to gain concrete skills and knowledge about problem solving and effective decision-making. As a result, each participant left the project "Business Opportunities" with increased self-confidence and readiness to take on entrepreneurial challenges. In addition, a greater awareness of the benefits of self-employment encouraged some of them to consider their own business as a potential career path. Long-lasting relationships between participants from different countries continued after the project ended, with each of them able to draw inspiration from the cultural diversity and innovative ideas that resulted from working together.
