Objectives

The aim of the project was to strengthen the involvement of young people in environmental protection in the area of operation of our organizations and the residence of young people who took part in the project. this goal was deducted from the search for all kinds of activities that were in line with the work of the European Union in the field of Environmental Protection and counteracting climate change. In addition, through the implementation of the project, we aimed to strengthen the sensitivity of participants to the need to protect the environment. The project was to provide an opportunity to discover the importance of environmental protection for everyone and to share knowledge about what the European Union is doing in the field of environmental protection and climate change. Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to make the participants aware of how they can help achieve the goals of the European Union as young people as members of non-governmental organizations in European countries. The aim of the project was also to develop media materials, such as film clips, photos, posters, intended for a wide range of peers, colleagues and friends, thanks to which project participants would be able to promote its results and the program in an even better way. The goals of the project were related to the assumptions of the Erasmus + program, in particular the general goal of Erasmus +, because the activities planned by us supported the development of young participants, which strengthened their civic activity and their development. The project also addressed the topic of sustainable economic growth in the context of environmental protection by involving the organizations involved in environmental sustainability. Achieving the set goals also included issues of individual approach to pro-ecological practices, for example by saving resources, reducing energy consumption and waste, making choices in favor of sustainable food and mobility. The goals of the project resulted directly from the interest of our organization, partner groups and the participants themselves, as well as from the analysis of real needs which we divided into general pro-ecological needs and specific needs of our organizations.
