The project entitled "Gender Equality for Sustainable Community" is a joint initiative of our youth groups representing teams from Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia and Poland. As part of our project, we carried out two activities, which were a preparatory meeting and a youth exchange. The dates of both mobilities were: - Mobility A2, preparatory meeting conducted with the participation of 7 people, i.e. each partner involved in the project was represented by 1 leader and 2 people from Poland, whose participation was financed from their own budget: August 1-2, 2022, - Mobility A1, youth exchange, attended by 37 people, i.e. 30 participants and 7 leaders, carried out on September 12-19, 2022. In our project entitled "Gender Equality for Sustainable Community" partner teams were created by 6 organizations representing 6 European Union countries: - Association Beehive from Romania, - STEP - Society for territorial progress from Slovakia, - Mladejki centar za razvitie-Vzaimopomosht (YDCMA) from Bulgaria, - Asociacija "Keliauk pirmyn" from Lithuania, - EMINA Pályaorientációs Alapitvány from Hungary, - Association for Supporting Youth Initiatives "FENIKS" from Poland, acting as the project coordinator. The main goal of our project was to promote and strengthen recognition and equal opportunities and rights for representatives of both sexes and people who identify themselves as non-hetero normative people. We wanted to increase our knowledge about the problem of discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation, promote our equality and equal rights and opportunities, educate our peers and the local community more effectively, and counteract discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation.
