First of all, we managed to squeeze the maximum out of tools such as culture and art, thus achieving success in the implementation of this project. We managed to develop completely new cooperation mechanisms within our 42-person project group thanks to tools in the field of culture and art. We managed to bring to the forefront of our presence at the youth exchange "Roma issue", which translates into many issues concerning the communities in which we operate on a daily basis: a) fascinating tradition, customs, culture and art which the Roma still cultivate, b) assimilation minorities in our communities, c) building attitudes of openness and tolerance in young people towards national minorities, d) the ability to understand that diversity enriches the social fabric and does not pose a threat to it. We managed to implement a project that helped us explore the issues of counteracting racism and discrimination, and also enabled us to participate in theater classes. The implementation of the project allowed us to combine a) the expectations of our organizations in terms of taking action to use tools in the field of culture and art to achieve educational, social and civic goals, b) the "Roma issue" present in all regions where our organizations come from, c) expectations and needs of young people associated in our organizations (and supporting our organizations) boil down to addressing the topic of counteracting racism and discrimination, as well as the choice of theater classes as a tool by which this goal should be achieved. in the field of culture and art - theater classes) with the tradition, customs, history, culture and art of the Roma, who are the embodiment of diversity, but also otherness in our communities. We have developed ideas for counteracting racism and discrimination (on the basis of nationality, but not only). We got to know and understand who the people who co-create our communities are (Roma, other national minorities, migrants), accepting their diversity and using it to enrich our communities, as well as developing ideas and mechanisms to counteract racism and discrimination. Participation in the project "Variety of ideas! Shared house!" allowed us to acquire knowledge and experience as well as deepen our awareness of the issues described above. The "Roma issue" helped us during the youth exchange to understand the multidimensionality of today's world, the diversity we are constantly confronted with, getting rid of the archaic way of looking at the world which is reflected in the lack of openness to other people and the fear of being different, breaking national stereotypes. We have learned to see the beauty in difference and diversity and use it to enrich our lives (personally, our communities, our countries). During the youth exchange, we confronted as many as seven ways of perceiving the "Roma issue" and formulated common conclusions in this regard. We have understood the cause-and-effect relationship between difference and diversity and racism and discrimination, and we have developed methods and ideas to counteract these negative phenomena.
