Background

The "SAB" project was ATEna's first international partnership cooperation Erasmus+ project. The implementation was based on the defined needs of the target groups. : development and strengthening of the staff of the partnership institution (also senior), and the internationalization of both institutions. ATEna wanted to acquire the ability to manage international and local work-groups, and both partners wanted to experience multiculturalism, weaken stereotypes and fears of diversity, shorten the distance for seniors to "abroad", improove language competences. Both partner institutions reported the need to create joint workshops and expand educational offers for their target groups, seniors, who in both institutions have become the main recipients of activities in recent years. One of the needs reported by seniors was to manage their time in accordance with the idea of lifelong education. We also wanted to meet the needs of the educational staff of both institutions related to improving the use of a foreign/English language, expanding cultural experiences, using existing competences and acquiring new ones - useful for working with seniors.
