Educators had opportunity to improve professional competences, staff members improved project management skills working with foreign partners. Educators learnt from each other new methods of teaching and learning in the intercultural and intergenerational environments. Partners' organisations gained experience in European strategic partnership which finally is the potential long-term benefit and beginning of future wider cooperation on European level. This contributed to the development of creativity and adult education and expanded the capabilities of partners' organisations as adult education providers.

Background

Creativity is the ability to raise new ideas, think outside the box, find unusual solutions, and deal with problems quickly. It’s very important in adult training, especially for seniors. Adult trainers promoting creativity enable adult learners to explore and find their hidden talents. A lot of educators working with adults are not aware how to develop these competencies. Motivation of this project partners was to exchange good practices how their organisations open talents and develop creativity of adult learners. Partners decided to involve in project activities participants from different cultural and social backgrounds: ethnic and national minorities, migrants and refugees, representatives of different religions, disabled, seniors etc. with the aim to share European diversity and common European values. Partners built intercultural dialogue by improving the availability of high-quality learning opportunities for adults in own organisations by offering training in new hobbies which they learn from the project partners. Project partners were interested to collect good practices in E-Book with the aim to equip and support educators who work with adult learners using non-formal methods of education.
