In implementing the project, we wanted to take action among pupils aged 11-13 to shape pro-environmental attitudes, aiming to consciously use and protect the natural environment. We assumed that there would be an improvement in the skills of pupils aged 11-13 related to natural sciences and mathematics. All partner schools wanted to strengthen the European dimension of the schools. Activities undertaken were aimed at increasing the language competences of teachers and pupils. The project was also intended to increase the attractiveness of partner schools in the educational market in their communities of operation, enriching the educational offer of all participating institutions.
The partner schools in the project needed to strengthen the European dimension of their establishments. They were looking for new cooperation partners and wanted to improve language competences among students and teachers. A diagnosed need of all partner schools was to raise the environmental awareness of students and the entire local environment. This included introducing students to the principles of healthy cuisine based on regional products, protecting water resources and carrying out sustainable recycling. Teachers from the partner schools expressed the need to implement new methods of working with pupils to improve their natural and mathematical competences, as well as examples of good practice that could be implemented in their schools. The partner schools also understood the need to raise awareness of nature conservation and combating global climate change among students and in the local community. Members of the partnership wanted to develop English language competences among students and teachers and motivate them to learn. All schools were looking for opportunities to enrich the educational offer of their institutions and were focused on continuous development and dynamic activities.
