By implementing the project, we wanted to share our expertise and contribute to the development of dance teaching field, as well as learn from other professionals. We wanted to foster innvoation in our daily work of teaching dance and working with dancers, get to know new teaching methods (especially regarding international cooperation) and get inspired by other teachers from different country. We also believed that by implementing the project we can establish professional connections and relations with teachers from abroad. Collaborative partnerships can generate many exchange programs and also new development opportunities
There are several reasons of applying for "S.O.S Save Our Souls" project. First of all, it allowed our organization and its members to access professional resources, facilities and international cooperation. The main reason, as well as main goal of this project was the need of sharing knowledge and experience between dance teachers, choreographers. Participating in a dance education project is a great chance to facilitate partnerships and professional networking. By applying for this project, we believed to develop not only in the field of dance education, but also in the field of peject management and collaboration. What is more, there was a need to learn from other experts in the field of dance education, as it's a great opportunity to enhance teaching skills, deepen knowledge and search for new teaching methods by knowledge exchange. The next need was connected to creating new opportunieties for dancers to develop and become more open for new experiences and challenges. Working in international group is not always easy. Exchanging knowledge and learning new cultures and customs is extremely important in developing undestanding and empathy for other people.
