The main goal of the project was to raise ecological awareness among employees of 3 industries during 24 months through cooperation between two schools and a non-governmental organization operating in the field of vocational education through - developing a set of examples of pro-ecological behavior in the workplace in the catering, construction and electrical industries based on the knowledge and experience of the project consortium members, - increasing ecological awareness and developing ecological behavior in the workplace, - increasing knowledge in the field of green management, green environment, recycling, paperless and digitalization.
More and more entrepreneurs are implementing ecological solutions in their companies, not only to protect nature, but also to save money, which is influenced by the use of ecological solutions and greater ecological awareness of employees. Vocational school students start working after graduating from school. Hence, there is a need to develop ecological skills and behaviors in students as future employees in the industries covered by the project already at the stage of education. As part of the project, we developed: - a collection of examples of pro-ecological behavior at work in the catering, construction and electrical industries, - article, films, seminars, brochure and poster competition and surveys on pro-ecological behavior, - ecologically conscious employee certificate, - a guide supporting the inclusion of elements of pro-ecological behavior. All the above results developed as part of the project allowed us to collect examples of best practices, activities and pro-ecological behaviors in the workplace that will help counteract climate change. Some of them will be used in the functioning of partner organizations and the implementation of ecological solutions with a view to protecting nature, but also saving resources.
