The main goal of the project was to meet the common needs of the partners to increase the participation of people with fewer opportunities in the education and training offered by the partners. This was achieved by preparing a description of competences and educational materials to increase the skills of educators in the following areas: • reaching people with fewer opportunities, • motivating them to start and continue learning, and • advisory support in order to introduce them to the path of lifelong learning.
The partners observed that they have a significant problem with social inclusion, especially in the context of the COVID-19 crisis. Reaching people with fewer opportunities is difficult and requires appropriate competences on the part of educators. Educators cooperating with partners, despite having many years of professional experience and knowledge in the field of adult learning techniques, have difficulties in reaching, motivating and supporting participants with smaller skills. chances. The activities they undertake in this area are accidental and implemented unconsciously. They lack a solid theoretical base, a clear diagnosis of the competences they need and a set of tools that will allow them to better reach and work with adults. There is no extensive support system for adult educators in the partner countries.
