Objectives

1. INCREASING THE EUROPEANIZATION OF LEARNERS WITH LESS OPPORTUNITIES. It is clear that languages represent the key to access communications and exchanges between different cultures. His knowledge represents a basic element in a strategic path that, in subsequent stages, aims at the Europeanization of the individual. This objective is essential to become aware of the European dimension and to exercise citizenship rights at the supranational scale. 2. INCREASE THE QUALIFICATION OF ASTA'S RESOURCES IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE LOCAL EDUCATIONAL OFFER AND SUPPORT THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN THE MANAGEMENT OF EUROPEAN PROJECTS IN THE ADULT EDUCATION SECTOR. The main objective is to innovate the teaching methodologies of AE through Emotional Education, a methodology recently developed. In addition, ASTA's growing internationalization process has a logical consequence of a continuous improvement in the language skills of its employees.

Background

The regional context presents a scarcity of educational offer aimed at adult students who, from the beginning, can be considered disadvantaged due to the geographic obstacles typical of a remote and rural region, with fewer services, poor, aged and in a marked loss of population. The pandemic situation has also worsened their conditions and ability to access local educational provision. It is, therefore, quite clear that it is necessary to start a process that allows adult students to enter Europe, starting from linguistic bases. With regard to the needs of ASTA's human resources in the AE sector, those we consider urgent are: 1. acquire new methodologies that have an impact on the innovation of the offer and teaching practice, 2. get in touch with other models for an update on organizational and educational planning, 3. implement European AE networking work, 4. acquire language skills useful for communicating with foreign partners.
