We intented to introduce an European perspective on teacher training courses, increase teachers ICT skills in classes and improve teachers knowledge about European Educational Systems. We intent to raise staff experience in organising KA1 projects in order to be able to develop an Internationalization Strategy in accordance with quality standards. Its our goal to contribute for the European Education area, by stimulating the development of partnerships between schools and teachers across Europe, and share European values, promote active citizenship and provide equal opportunities for all. By disseminating the activities of the project we want to reach other teachers and motivate them to participate in mobilities and European partnerships as well as to contribute for the development of digital competence of teachers.
Casa do Professor was created in 1979 with the intent of supporting teachers of all school levels, through the promotion of social, cultural. scientific and continuous training initiatives. Our organisation offers a wide range of activities to its 11000 associated teachers. namely, a teacher training centre and an innovation centre, a residencial home care for retired teachers, a music academy, a restaurant, library and an auditorium. The teacher training centre works since 1993, it is nationaly acknowledge and provides certificated training for teachers and adults in a wide variety of areas covering teaching, pedagogy, school management, technology and others. Nowadays, transnational coopeeration is necessary to ensure the definition of skill in order to reach the goal of a common European Educational Area, where our Organisation want to be a part of.
