The objectives listed in the application were the following: - Equip the school with an environmentalist culture, which would make young people protagonists in active participation within the community; - Encourage the use of digital resources to promote competence and digital literacy. - Improve proficiency levels in a foreign language, namely in English; - Ensure the participation of disadvantaged students and the implementation of non-formal education tools; - Promote knowledge of cultural heritage as a way to develop sustainable lifestyles and eating habits.
Pursuing the organization's internationalization, advocated in its European Development Project, and which is based on the values of education, democracy, solidarity, inclusion, multiculturalism, sustainable development and multilingualism, we decided to move towards a project that could address a series of issues that seemed to us to bring more knowledge to our students and greater competence to our teachers. The School is located in a suburban area, in a disadvantaged socio-cultural context, with adults with low schooling and young people with low expectations regarding their future and training. The project comes from working with 3 partner schools with whom we had already developed an Erasmus + Project, and with another two with whom we had developed an eTwinning project that had a lot of impact on the school and was very successful. A series of themes and activities were decided on that would be worked on in a common way, and that were considered deficit areas in all institutions. It was intended, through collaborative work, reflection and sharing, to make an impact on students and on the school life of the entire community.
