This project aimed to achieve the following objectives: - Enhance better learning performance, adopting motivating strategies and consequently increase the completion rate of courses; - Improve students' skills and performance in Foreign Language subjects, namely English. As well as improving their motivation and attitude towards this subject. - To promote and develop a European identity and citizenship. - Develop technical skills in a real work context and social and relational skills, with the aim of facilitating insertion in the labor market. - Reinforce a change in the mindset of teachers to face the challenges of a school at the service of the guidelines defined by the European Union for the 21st Century School
The Novos Horizontes Vocational School has as its main objective the training of young people, providing them with essential tools for their insertion in the labor market, being an effective response to the fight against early school leaving. Thus, this project results, on the one hand, from the need to find tools that help to achieve this objective, and from the increasingly pressing need to internationalize the institution, thus improving the quality of its training and providing its teachers with the knowledge and tools at the of what is best done in the European context.
