With the implementation of this project we intend to achieve the following objectives: * Acquire professional skills according to the needs of the labor market. * Increase the number of partnerships with international entities / companies, as well as the number of European Erasmus projects. * Increase the number of students attending Professional Education Courses by 25%. * Decrease the dropout and dropout rate and increase the rate of completion of courses
Colégio Dr. Luís Pereira da Costa was founded in 1994 and is located in Monte Redondo, a village in the north of Leiria. The school teaches 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Basic Education and Vocational Education. The school strategy has been throughout the years strongly conditioned by the socio-economic characteristics of the majority of our students. In this sense, it is important to highlight the low academic background of the vast majority of parents/guardians, which requires increased work with the students, in order to eliminate the needs that arise from the absence of family support in their daily school life.
