Background

The Grouping of schools AECCB is located in the Northern part of Mainland Portugal and is part of the Area of vale do Ave which is characterized by having a workforce with low schooling and low professional qualification. In the Camilo Castelo Branco school grouping, a significant number of students come from low- and middle-income families, with little motivation to study and low cultural experiences outside the school context. In view of the above, and in order to provide young people with greater and better vocational training opportunities, we believe it is imperative to move forward in internationalisation in order to take advantage of the enormous potential of the Erasmus+ programme. At the end of this project, we hope to have been able to actively contribute to the recognition of Europe as a space for all citizens, help participants achieve their personal and professional goals. We believe that mobilities will play a definite role in students' entrepreneurial spirit.
