This project is aligned with the mission of the Santa Maria Health School (ESSSM) to train highly qualified health professionals in human, scientific, technical and cultural terms, incorporating the framework of ethical and moral values of the Franciscan matrix. It transcends geographical boundaries and drives the pursuit of educational excellence and innovative practices in the global context. Every international mobility is not only a teaching opportunity, but also a valuable source of knowledge. The project broadened its horizons through the establishment of strategic partnerships with other HEIs and health organizations, enriching the academic environment with diverse perspectives and advanced methodologies. The aim was to strengthen the internationalization of the institution and broaden the international horizons of its participants. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented difficulties, requiring prompt and effective adaptation, thus adding a new dimension to the project implementation. In this complex context, the institution sought to adapt to exceptional circumstances, reinforcing its commitment to overcoming adversity and providing stability and security for all.
