Through the 2021-1-PT01-KA131-HED-000004456 project, the University of Porto (UP) has strengthened its internationalisation process, its institutional competitive capacity and also Portugal’s, increasing its visibility in the European Higher Education Area. At a decisive moment of post-pandemic recovery, the project fostered new collaborations and strengthened existing partnerships, through the signing of hundreds of new IIAs, via the EWP network, with European Higher Education Institutions, supporting more than a thousand successful and high-quality mobility experiences, contributing significantly to the dissemination of the excellence promoted by the Erasmus+. In the final stages of this project’s implementation, UP was selected as an EWP Champion. * In line with the Programme’s horizontal priorities, the project accelerated the internal process of digital transformation by training the teaching/administrative staff and students in terms of pedagogical and curricular innovation. The University of Porto designed the project to be integrated with its modernisation and internationalisation strategy, in line with its Erasmus Policy Statement, boosting strategic partnerships, particularly within the European Alliance EUGLOH.
