At institutional level, the implementation of KA1 projects are part of the Universidade Aberta’s Internationalization strategy and contribute significantly to increasing the international recognition of the University and its virtual pedagogical model. * At the level of the beneficiaries (students and teaching and non-teaching staff), the realization of mobilities contributes to their academic, professional and personal enrichment. * In the specific case of students, whose participation in the Programme happens in a very small number (given the profile of the Universidade Aberta’s students: mostly adults with professional and personal responsibilities that inhibit them from carrying out long-term physical mobility), this project contributed to an increase of their adhesion by offering them the possibility of carrying out short-term physical mobility. * In the project under evaluation, this objective was achieved through the participation of 9 master’s and doctoral students in a Blended Intensive Program, with a face-to-face component of 5 days.
