The implementation of the project allowed 83 people to benefit from the experience of a mobility abroad, what had direct implications in the valorization of their experiences at individual and professional levels. To many trainees, the Erasmus mobility represented the first contact with professional life and the possibility to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic formation. Moreover, it represented the opportunity to develop soft skills, which have been increasingly valued by recruiters as a distinguishing element, such as competences of adaptability to plurilingual and multicultural contexts, network capacity as well as abilities to work in group and under pressure, and to develop leadership skills. As far as staff is concerned, the mobility enabled personnel to know new and distinct professional contexts and promoted the dialogue with peers, thus potentiating the sharing of experiences, good practices and the consolidation of pre-existent institutional bonds. Staff mobilities for training enabled the acquisition of new knowledge and its application in professional context in the home institution.
