Internationalisation is a priority for Universidade do Minho (UMinho), and, as such, it is a core transversal element of UMinho Mission and Strategic Plans. Internationalisation is a key element to reach and maintain a high-quality level of its projects concerning education, research and interaction with society and to promote the Institution in a growing competitive academic world, and, for that reason, UMinho has been making a considerable effort to consolidate its international dimension and have a meaningful volume of international cooperation. * The activities under this project had the following main objectives: * - To consolidate the international mobility activities; * - To increase the number of transnational projects aimed at the internationalisation and innovation of curricula and teaching/learning methods; * - To increase the employability potential of students; * - To increase the awareness of the academic community for the practices and benefits of Internationalisation at Home; * - To develop more international programs in areas of excellence; * - To foresee an internationalisation whose diversity, level and quality are formal institutional assessment indicators; * - To promote inclusiveness, democratic values and multiculturalism.
