Internationalization is one of the main focuses of the University of Beira Interior. Considering the objectives outlined by the European Commission for the Erasmus+ Programme and in line with the current internationalization strategy of the University of Beira Interior, the following objectives have been set: - promoting the academic mobility at UBI, consolidating the current internationalization strategy of the University of Beira Interior and the commitment to diversifying the mobility of students and staff; - promoting and guaranteeing the participation of everyone in mobility activities, particularly students with fewer opportunities; - encouraging student participation in short-term mobilities; - removing obstacles to mobility, ensuring support, guidance, and follow-up for outgoing and incoming students; - ensuring the students’ academic recognition; - strengthening cooperation networks with higher education institutions; - reinforcing European identity through increased participation of students, and staff in the Erasmus+ project.
