Given ISAL's geographical location –island of Madeira - in the middle of the Atlantic, we consider our participation in the Erasmus+ programme to be of vital importance, as it is one of the most appropriate means of achieving our objectives and, in particular, transnational cooperation between higher education institutions and organisations, for the development of intercultural exchange, creativity and innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship, without forgetting the contribution to the recognition of studies and academic degrees throughout the community and their impact on the modernisation of Europe. Within the scope of Erasmus+, ISAL's main priority will be the mobility of students for periods of study, followed by the mobility of students for internships, in accordance with the plans for the first cycles of study, followed by the mobility of teachers and staff. We have welcomed and sent students through Erasmus+ and they have been very satisfied during and after their mobility. We are very pleased with the students' reports, and we will always work towards the satisfaction of our participants. Our aim is always to improve and increase the mobility of students and staff, as well as the number of partner universities.
